Ocorreu na noite de ontem (23) no Nokia Theatre, em Los Angeles, com apresentação de Jimmy Kimmel, a premiação voltada para as produções da televisão americana sendo organizada pela Academia de Televisão, Artes e Ciência o Emmy 2012.
Os grandes vencedores da noite como as melhores produções do ano passado foram as séries Homeland, vencedora como melhor produção dramática, e Modern Family, a mais premiada entre as comédias.
