Nate Parker (Eden: Lutar ou Morrer), Armie Hammer (O Agente da U.N.C.L.E.), Mark Boone Junior (Filhos da Anarquia (TV Series), Colman Domingo (Fear the Walking Dead (TV Series), Aunjanue Ellis (Quantico (TV Series), Dwight Henry (12 Anos de Escravidão) e Aja Naomi King (How to Get Away with Murder (TV Series) completam o elenco do filme.
Escrito e dirigido pelo ator Nate Parker (que faz sua estreia em longas), o filme tem seu lançamento previsto 07 de Outubro de 2016. A Fox não informou a data de lançamento no Brasil.
